Shelter Hope holds many annual events. Here are a couple of our most notable ones.
The Rotary Street Fair
The Rotary Street Fair, held in mid-September, brought us together with Lucy Pet Foundation and their amazing Rose Parade float. This surfing wave machine helps dogs learn how to surf!

Cusumano Halloween Fundraiser
Our annual Cusumano Halloween Fundraiser, held on Halloween weekend, is always a scary way to help us help more animals.
In 2020, Shelter Hope took in 500 cats and kittens due to pandemic overflow and government shelters being closed.
Our spay and neuter clinic that we did in Compton, CA.
In Memory of Melanie Pozez
Melanie Pozez left a legacy of helping humans and their pet companions.
In her honor we do monthly drop offs to the homeless at Skid row in Los Angeles.
If you want to help us with this you can drop off any type of dog food and cat food and other needed items like-collars, harnesses, leashes, clean dog beds, and dog and cat treats.

“I think dogs are the most amazing creature; they give unconditional love. For me they are the role model for being alive.”
