The Eaton and Palisades fires have consumed more than 37,000 acres of homes, businesses and landmarks in Altadena and Pacific Palisades.
Shelter hope learned during the Woolsey fire that there are many stages of help needed.
Currently we are in a stage of excess supplies and families still in shock with a long list of needs that are overwhelming.
Many of our generous supporters have asked us to help them help families who lost everything in the Palisades and Eaton fires. They specifically wanted to help families with pets who were impacted by the fires.
For the majority of families with pets the first thing on their list is vetting and keeping their pets safe during this major time of change.
How can we help?
Medical care is needed for many pets that lost their homes.
These families have had unexpected vet emergencies come up with their pets as they struggle to find housing.
